Details
During heating, the furnace allows to heat dense or monolithic charges by forced convection by circulating gas at a pressure of 1 to 1.5 bar absolute, up to a temperature of 800 °C and continuing vacuum heating by radiation.
The furnace, having a power distribution over 3 independent zones, adapts the heat flux by radiation toward the charge to the actual distribution of the masses and surfaces of the charge itself, allowing an exceptional thermal uniformity and a minimum power absorption, avoiding the risk of local overheating of the parts.
The furnace gives the possibility during the shut-down phase to arrange the circulation of gas (nitrogen , argon, etc.) at a maximum pressure of 10 bar absolute cooling the charge from below, from above or from both sides, allowing the faster drop in temperature of the charge with the best uniformity.
