The TAV TPH 1000 is a horizontal high-vacuum furnace equipped with gas quenching up to 10 bar and a 1000 dm3 usable hot zone (1000×1000×1000 mm). Operating in the 10⁻⁵–10⁻⁶ mbar range, it features a fully automatic cycle via Siemens S7 PLC with SCADA supervision.
Heating of the charge can be achieved either in high vacuum or with partial pressure of inert gas. This is made possible by an automatic system that regulates the vacuum within the range of 0.1 to 1 mbar at a preset level, introducing argon or nitrogen.
The graphite hot zone and high-speed quench fan allow efficient, uniform heating and rapid cooling with argon or nitrogen. Multidirectional gas flow (top, bottom, alternate) ensures flexibility in thermal treatment.
Key components include:
- Graphite radiation shields and flat bar heaters.
- High-capacity vacuum system: Roots booster, oil diffusion, and foreline pumps.
- Touchscreen HMI, paperless recorder and Eurotherm overtemperature control.
- Up to 1200 kg load capacity with uniformity ±5 °C (500–1250 °C)
- Rapid pump-down (<20 min) and cool-down (<10 min)
The vessel is pressure-rated to 10 bar, water-cooled, and leak-tested with helium mass spectrometry. The system is CE-marked, NADCAP/AMS2750D compliant, and includes a Wonderware SCADA platform for full traceability and diagnostics.
Ideal for vacuum brazing, vacuum ageing and heat treatment under partial pressure or high vacuum.
